Jeremy Wayne McKern
Jeremy Wayne McKern is an Oregon-based country and Americana artist whose music blends outlaw country, Southern rock, blues, folk, and mountain-music roots. A retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief, Jeremy writes with the perspective of someone who has lived through service, sacrifice, loss, and the long road toward healing.
Since launching his solo career with “Honky Tonk Bound” in 2022, Jeremy has built a catalog of honest, road-worn songs centered on resilience, redemption, and the struggles people often carry quietly. His debut album with Whiskey Bound arrived in 2024, the same year he earned a nomination from the Pacific Northwest Music Awards and was named Best New Artist by Total Mixx Radio.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Whiskey Myers, and The Red Clay Strays, Jeremy pairs a gravel-worn baritone with storytelling that feels raw, lived-in, and unmistakably his own.
Now performing with an expanded live band and developing new bodies of work recorded in both Oregon and Texas, Jeremy is pushing his sound further into the space where Americana storytelling, outlaw-country conviction, and Southern-rock energy meet. His mission remains simple: make honest music for people who have lived, lost, fought, and kept moving forward.
